Substitue of Amibroker needed

Guys

amibroker might be good but its a headache to get it started for the first time i.e installing bavcopies ...importing wizard & blah blah...blah

keep getting this or that errors..pls don' t suggest help file for god sake

is there any damn piece of software with which you have lesser or no headaches ??

1) what i wish to do is create conditions in that software so that i don' t have to look for buy & sell signals manually & be able to scan stocks as per my condition

2) there should be ease in importing data i.e you should be able to play with just the .csv files which you can easily download from nse website & real time quotes should be obtained free of charge or some way to download just EOD data and scan stocks after market hours

pls put in your 2,4...1000 cents here !!!

I know amibroker help file is useless. Its all clutter and confusing.
Have you tried fibo trader. I dont think that there is substitute for ami.
Or you can try meta trader 4 from fx central with rt feed but it is not free.

Hi rishi,
I did'nt try AB, I'm using free version of FCharts .it is very simple n user friendly.A pro version also available($ 240)You can use it for intra day also with free data, i have seen the link for free data in TJ .

chartnexus.
it is a breeze .but no intraday support.

i request everybody who read this thread to get chartnexus........i have amibroker with nsetracker which automatically get EOD data and with volume digger for free intraday chart...........but i seldom use it....it is chartnexus all the way........................

yes chartnexus is great one for its simplicity and it is quite good as professional for eod based software. as for ninja trader its too much complex but good one.cant understand ninjatrader how to customised for nse and bse. sud any one help
