Realtime quote window of Amibroker is not supported as of now.

In Amibroker, Numerical data in Quote Editor Window ( Symbol > Quote Editor) does not refresh automatically. To watch the numerical data of quotes I have to open it manually each time.

Is it possible to refresh the quotes automatically. If possbile then How?

SUNYHD is ManshiRT opensource software? Do you parse the streaming data or parse some local file generated by programs like odin/tt etc?

This is Amibroker specific question and I dont have answer to it. I really feel it may not be possible to refresh the data in quote editor automatically.

By the way, I am curious the need for watching data through quotes editor window.

Backfill using Sharekhan

Backfill using Sharkhan has been implemented. The process is given below:
a) ManshiRT configuration

1. Create a folder for backfill files from Sharekhan.
2. Specify its path using Tools->Backfill folder

b) Copy tick data in the backfill folder. Follow the following steps

1. Open a chart in Shekhan
2. Configure the chart for 5 day 1 mintue
3. Right click on the chart and select Tick Listing. It will open tick list window
4. Right click on the tick list window and select save data. Save data in the folder specified during the ManshiRT configuration. Keep the name default name. By default it will be in Exchange.Symbol format

EOD UI and EOD Metastock Support

Added a UI for updating EOD database from the ManshiRT server. Metastock EOD support
has been added. Hence Metastock users can update their database using ManshiRT

New Manshi RT UI

New and improved Manshi RT UI has been implemented. A few snaps of the UI are attahed
with this mail

Other Misc Changes:

Amibroker Tick DB users - to avoid issue of data not updating some time due to dangling broker.exe running, specify the broker.exe path using Charing S/W->Amibroker

Tried traderji and yahoo group for help on configuring FCHARTS with manshiRT.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

FCharts Configuration

ManshiRT Configuration - follow the following steps to configure ManshiRT for FCharts

1) Open settings dialog
2) Clcik on "Charting S/W" tab
3) Under specify a data directory for FCharts data in "Fcharts" Data folder text box eg c:\ManshiRT\ ChartsData

FCharts Configuration - following the following steps to configure FCharts to use RT data from ManshiRT server:

Open FCharts, and choose "Intraday" button on the left hand side, which will open a dialog named "Live Data". Ensure following settings has been made to get real-time data.

a) Source: Ascii Files
b) choose "Open feed on startup"
c) Under Import Ascii Files, specify FCharts directory as given above e.g. C:\ManshiRT\ ChartsData
d) choose "Import changed files only"
e) Specify update frequency in seconds as you wish - Poll every _ seconds (1 to 60)
f) Start to update real-time/backfill datas

First of all Thanks for such an wonderful Software. I got to know about this software just yesterday. I downloaded the software, installed it. It is working properly and i am getting all the data which is in the watchlist but i am not getting data's which are in PIB.

I am using PIB and done exactly as you have mentioned in the Post but still i am not getting data's from PIB. Where am i going wrong?

Can you please send debug traces? The process to capture debug traces is given below -this applies to ManshiRT version 0.9.1.2

1) Enable Debug
settings->Debug - enable debug check box
It will start DebugView.exe automatically which is located in the same folder as ManshiRT. For the first time use it might ask for license agreement, click on yes to proceed further

2) Restart ManshiRT
3) Open Charts in PIB - which basically creates data files in the data directory of the PIB.

Wait for some time arround 1-3 minutes for the data to appear.

Save Debug traces (DebugView.exe File->Save as) and send the same to me (suny_hyd2000 at yahoo.com)
