Realtime & EOD Charting - New Software Wishlist

Dear All

we are in the process of developing our technical analysis software for realtime and EOD Data.

I request you all to tell what al features you would want in a Technical Analysis software. We will finally give away the beta version to select few users.

Should be easy to install and use.
Auto updating of data rt & eod. Splitting ,bonus , sectors , catagories should
already orgnised. Auto trend line feature.
Also portfolio and trade management feature integrated.

Most important it should be affordable.

don't know if it really a viable buss proposition or not. Cause there are 100s of TA package out there (metastock, amibroker etc), most of broker's site have it, most of data provide (esignal, viratech, investbulls etc) also provide this feature.., all trading platform like Ninja Trader , MT4 etc.. have TA inbuilt ..
And on top of it.. there are many free options available or others online version which costs very small amount (300 rs/month) compared to the risk that we take in the market.

So, where is the mkt for it ? What is USP of your product ? I would be intersted in knowing it, if you can share it (and it is not buss confidential info).

I am sure you would be having basic requirements of this software with you. Else just look at the feature list of Metastock or Amibroker.. and you will have more then enough development work for few months.

Mankind must stop running behind "Breathtaking, Scientific, AI enhanced, Improved TA Packages". Almost all use Metastock, AMibroker and the list that AW10 mentioned. In a way AW10 is right. What is the USP of the product. As far as I feel, the profit lies not in the package, but in the ANALYSIS. Be it any product, keep your eyes wide opened guys

Also, Kudos for the new software developer/launcher. Always good to hear about the progress. Good luck with the development. Hope you come out with a Magical Wand with which everyone can benefit :thumb:

Thanks a lot for your input.

We have been working in the markets since last 10 years an have developed a few strategies to increase the success rate to quite a good extent. Please note that in no way I mean that we have a system which gives 100% accuracy, I personally believe there cannot be any such system with 100% accuracy.

We have tested these strategies on the TA Software you listed. Our software will have these strategies as the USP along with the common indicators.

As of now, we are trying to find what a common user would want in such an application.

If I were you, then I would develop the plug-in for all those packages, feed providers, platforms and sell to existing users ? Or get into the tie-up with those companies.
RMO indicator is just an example, where Rahul has created a simple system and encashed it with Metastock. Today, RMO system has become the part of meta-stocks core training material.

I would rather leverage on existing market then to reinvent it. Development of a software product and selling it against the established players is not easy. New Product development has low success rate. Once upon a time I was involved in software product development hence know little bit about it.

Just my view, Stox. In now way trying to discourage you from product development.
