How to optimize PC startup.

My system takes a very long time to startup and shutdown. It's very annoying for me. Plz suggest some software to manage and optimize system startup.

Bro john for this u can down load any C Cleaner n use it every time before u turn off ur pc it will remove ur temporary files from registry
after doing it open start up n disable all items which open at pc start it will surely control ur opening n closing time
I use piriform c cleaner u can google it Its free of cost

I am also facing the same problem.Install a small utility called CCLEANER (piriform software) and run it frequently.Perhaps this helps to some extent.
