I failed to mention the MOST IMPORTANT part of configuring QuoteTracker. Make sure that your QuoteTracker has enabled QT HTTP server: Options->Edit Preferences : Misc tab: API Server Settings. Turn on the server if it is in off state. Do not change port and socket port settings. If you are using unregistered version of QuoteTracker make sure you click on ads often enough. When u click on the ads displayed in QT ur Ami will be automatically updated, but u have to do it many times during a day.

In Ami on DatabaseSettings window, click configure button and check the values for server port etc. QT Server IP - 127.0.0.1, QT server port - 16239. These are the default vaues and make sure both ur QT and Ami has the same values for these settings.

Regards

Click on the advertisement banner of quotetracker a number of times and ensure that advertisement viewing is more than 1%. Then open the amibroker and check.

Pl give details of your problem.
Have you followed instructions?
which are the instructions you have successfully followed?
Whether QT is installed?
Whether web update is done?
Whether NSE is chosen as data vendor?
Whether you have chosen stocks in portfolio?
Whether nse timings are set?
Whether you have opened in market hours?
In which instruction you are stuck? etc

1. Create a new portfolio and give it your own name.
2. Select this portfolio, open and choose nse stocks in it.
3. For this you click on green handle like symbol on right top corner---symbol lookup--- and it will guide you further to choose nse stocks.
4. Open your portfolio in market hours and you should get quotes.
5. delete INTC AND MSFT so that they dont confuse you.
6 Log into yahoo finance and enable cookies so that you get rt data. Other wise data will be 15 mts delayed.

Hope this helps.
