hi, i have made a small utility which fetches real time data from nse website and auto updates Amibroker database.I think data is not delayed ...

Few queries;
1.Is it possible to update multiple scrips??
2.I will have to use the scrip codes as can be seen from the NSE.Right??

Congratulations for this utility which fetches live quotes (as live as one can see at the stock quotes page of NSE web site) downloading the relevant frame. It is a very novel idea.

I have one query on it's bandwidth utilization. As I understand, it will fetch and update the tmp.html page every 5 secs, which is of size 11.4 KB (kilobytes). This may utilize a substantial part of the bandwidth available to a user. (On a typical 256 KBPS plan of BSNL Broadband, one can realize a max of upto 80 kbits/sec or 10 kBytes/sec during trading hours)

I wish NSE may redesign the web page to keep just the current price in a single frame to be able to extract just the current price (Live), which it may not do or obvious reasons.

I request you to offer your comments on the bandwidth consumption.

Pl, make some modification in your utility. Required following modification---
For NSE Index data fetch make it to htpp:// f i nance.yahoo.com/q?s=%5NSEI and give to Amibroker 1 sec interval and in amibroker candle chart will form.
