NSE connectivity to NEAT

Greetings.

If was to trade on the NSE I can either call my broker or place an order online with my broker.

My question relates to how the brokers connect to the NSE.

Do all brokers use NEAT to connect to the NSE for execution?

Can brokers use their own software [or third party software such as GL] to execute on the NSE?

Or does all software that is trying to execute on the NSE must route through neat?

yes,

if you are nse member you ll find the api and u make you own software.
