eSignal OpenInt in Amibroker
I am getting only 0 in OI field. (eSignal Realtime Datafeed to Amibroker)
Price & volumes are ok but no open interest data (futures) with esig plugin for AB. Its there in eSignal's own software but not in AB. is there any way to get it ? enlightened people please help me to get it right.  mkar

omkarmango , know exactly how you feel wrt "free - lowcost" data vendors.
I too am interested on some info on this issue of not seeing OI in AB. Though the esignal Live Rep (I think these poor guys are half asleep when we chat them up...they are so lost!) confirmed that esignal does not provide OI at all. News to me that their own software plots it. Does it plot EOD only, or also reltime? Any info is appreciated best regards, kazaan

Hello Omkar,
OI in Amibroker is available on EOD mode only. But, with the recently released esignal plugin using GetRTData function you can get the current OI, as esignal does not provide the OI history realtime intraday. I have not tried that as I am a novice in AFL programming.. If you could succeed, pls let me know... John.

Yeah I am using it from the very first day of new release. not of much use as esignal do not provide intra OI history. esig intraday OI data is available, updates after 10 mins gap. almost worthless for day trading. apologies for delayed reply as logged in after long gap. regards
