11000 per year (NSE only.cash & FnO) is not that high.
With tax, it's around 1030 something per month. http://www.reliable.co.in/NewWeb/Ser...BSE,%20NSE.htm |

I had a free trial with them about a year ago. But u can't compare it with Metastock or Amibroker. They provide all common of indicators, but u can't program it or create ur own indicators or trading systems.

Thats right. its worthless as TA software. nothing in comparison with AB, TS or even MS.
But data is live. If we connect it to AB or TS through DDE (via Excel), its much more useful as cheap but reliable live data feed for cash & FnO. I wonder why dont these people officially provide data link for external softs too(or just write live data on hard disk in csv/txt format). They'll end up with increased sales only. |

Quote:
Though it provides DDE to Excel, DDE provided by falcon is not like "DDE in excel". I mean they do not provide "=Excel|ACC!Open" type linking, you have to execute it from within falcon, then falcon opens, its own worksheet named DDE.xls Thus there is not direct DDE linking from falcon to AB. You have to do it via excel. search AB yah00 group for the same purpose.(excel to AB DDE link) |

Hi czar
i am thinking of switching to falcon. can u plz clear these doubts 1. do they have volume at price or volume histogram indicator like ensign or quotetracker which shows volume at disrete price levels? 2. Is the data live & what about quality of data , i am interested in NSE & MCX data? 3. How easy it is to export data to excel, i am not talking about dde just plain OHLC & volume data to excel for analysis? 4. Do they provide delayed data for other commodity exchanges? Thanks Naveen Last edited by NAVEEVIa : 15th April 2008 at 04:54 PM. Reason: add one more question |
