Lightbulb Live from PIB : Facts & Solutions

.
.
Getting live data from PIB is never a problem. But as everybody knows, PIB writes data in it's folder with some delay.

This delay ranges from person to person from 1 Min to 8 Mins.

This is because, PIB writes data when it get's some 35 KB of it in cache memory

*************There are two substitutes.**********************

1] If you have suppose 25 scrips in marketwatch it'll write after some 8 mins But if you have 50 or more scrips it'll write data in about 4 to 5 mins. it's earlier for 100 scrips.
In sluggish trading days with less trades the delay increases.

2] There is another way also. If you synch any chart, PIB immediately updates the data.

This is because, PIB writes data when it get's some 35 KB of it in RAM

If somebody suggests any solution, other than these substitutes, getting live charts from PIB is as good as done

Hi

You are perfectly right.

I encounter this problem with PIB,the converter is " Release" by Mr. AKGandhi.

When I apply 2 Mt chart, the bar comes sometimes immediately but sometimes 3 or 4 bars suddenly appears.

Will anyone suggest me a remedial measure?

Thanks in advance.

Sundaram

1)Push Sync in intraday chart of PIB
2)Open RealTimeConvertor By AKGandhi and press convert!!!

Do both press "as hard as you can" and "as fast as you can"

Hope this may help you!

hi

Metastock says " The folder does not contain metastock files", when the data converter "Release" converts PIB data and dumps them in a folder.

Kindly show me a way out.

Thanks in advance.

Martin

Dear sir;
Please tell me which is converter (free) to get live PIB data in Amibroker.
I tried one from Cempusoft but Mr. Kachawa is no more supporting it.
Thanks.

I think, converter from akgandhi also works for AB.
I myself dont use that converter, but I read it's help file, there is some setting there to read the metastock data from AB.
Just download that utility & read the help file with it, you'll get the idea.
