Project Requests/Advice?
I'm developing a online site revolving around the indian markets. Been a fundamental analyst for 3 odd years and just want to make things similar. I'll list out all the features I plan on including in the website, and if anyone has any suggestions, im all ears.
1. Portfolio Management - This is the main reason I want to do this. I don't like the moneycontrol site, I don't like the price-delay, just don't like the alternatives. This will allow importing/exporting csv's(imp according to me) and LIVE prices. I'll also be setting up historical quotes, so that you can see your portfolio graph (no use, but i think it will look amazing). Most of my time will be spent on this. 2. Research reports archive - I get 10-15 reports a day from various brokerages (fundamental), so I want to create an archive of these. The sheer size will be huge. 3. All prices will be live, not delayed. 4. Main page will be a customizable news page, incorporating something like iGoogle usability. Since my main focus is on the portfolio manager, I've not thought too much about the rest. If any has any suggestions please feel free. I'm not much of a technical analyst, so if anyone has ideas or would like to help out in those lines, again it would be very welcome.
