Post AIOTRADE - The Best FREE Technical Charting Software

Hi everybody,

I am a fresh stock market investor and I got the reference of this software from traderji.com . I wish to thank them for providing this excellent software. I am using this software since 30 days now and found it to be very useful and easy.

I use this software alongwith the formulae given by Mr.Aswini Gujral in his book "How to make Money Using Derivatives".

I first look at the ADX Value in the software. If it is above 25 and above +DI & -DI , I start watching the stock .Then if the trend is confirmed by Williams and OBV , I just buy the stock.

Last month , I increased my trading capital from 10,000 to 12,000 with this.

Though this is a small begining , I feel very good about it hence this post.

I use simple money management - If the stock I purchased goes immediately in the UP Direction I am with the stock till it continues its trend. If it goes down immediately, I don't wait at all and cut my losses to minimum.

Here are some of my Trades

STOCK BUY RATE CURRENT RATE
SAIL 110 136
IFCI 32 38
RCOM 405 475
Reliance 1054 1092
praj 466 485
IDBI 82 88
DHAMSUGAR 78 71(I sold at 82)

I wanted to buy GTL but my broker wrongly took GTC otherwise it is also up.

I want to bring this capital to 20 Lacs. Can anybody suggest a better method for Trading ??????

Hi everybody,

Thanks for your replies.

I am not someone who can advice others in share market. I am totally new.
However I can only share some of my views in dealing in share market.

1. Share Market is a risky game if you will invest wthout knowledge. But can be really profitable if you will invest with study.
2. Never risk your entire money on market. Market can take all that you have and will give you nothing in return.
3.Strictly follow your mental stop loss . I use 2% as my stop loss that means I never risk more than Rs.200 for my capital of 10,000 on any given trade.
4. I am not afraid of Losses. In fact if I receive a Loss in my position immediately upon entering, I treat that as signal market has given me. I then immediately come out of the trade and take reverse position. For example in case of Dhampur Sugar , I entered at 78,it went to 82 and immediately started backword. I sold at 81 and now it is at 71. I donot short or I donot have capital to sell future or buy put . But if I had it, I would have taken a reverse position and would have benifited on its downword journey.
5. i never sell my winners till the trend continues. I took SAIL at 110 and it is now at 134. Let it run to full steam . When it will start slowing down or reverse I will sell it and take other position.
6. I would rather lose opportunity but not my money. I am here to make money and not give it to market. Market offers lot of opportunities to small traders like us. It is equal to everybody. So do not panic or hurry. Make your study. Be confident about yourself. Take your position and wait for the full trend. If u are proven wrong on 1st or 2nd day itself, take your small losses and switch to other stock.
7. I am actually having my other business as software company owner. Hence I don't get much time in market hours. But that I think is better since I am not in the noise of the market. I do my study after office hours daily for 10-15 min. and decide what to do tommorrow.
8.I use ADX and Williams and OBV to enter a position. But there can be lot of other good trading systems. One should form its own rule and stick to it if profitable. I have one friend who trades on Overbought/Oversold signals and he is very much successful in earning money.

U can download aiotrade here
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...roup_id=152032

Pl give ur comments and share your trades . If possible I can offer some of my views on it.
