Default Help for aptistock and fcharts

Hi People,

I have downloaded aptistock and fcharts SE. I need your help in getting the EOD data of both NSE and BSE on to these softwares.

Also what I would like to know is whether the EOD data has to been to done one stock at a time or can all the stocks traded on that day can be included.

Thanks

Mandeep

Search in this forum. You will find an excellent step by step instruction as to how to set up and run Fcharts and also how to update EOD quotes.
Updating is done for all stocks at once in Fcharts by using import/export button and download menu. You will have to enter only market suffix, which is .bo for BSE and .ns for NSE. Ticker symbol for sensex is ^bsesn and that of nifty is ^nsei. It takes hardly 30 seconds for updating nearly 2000 stocks with EOD quotes in Fcharts, provided you have speedy internet connection, preferably broadband connection. In aptistock also, updating is done automatically, but it takes time as updating Eod quotes are done one by one. If you have any doubt, go through the help file in aptistock.
