Any open source software like Medved Quotetracker?
Hi friends,
The medved qt is a very good software. But it has some limitations like only two days of intraday data, only six months of charts . otherwise it is an excellent software. btw Do you guys know about any opensource software like qt??

FIBO TRADER is an excellent software,which is free.all options are available after expiry of trial version period.There is a separate thread about fibtrader software in this forum.
i am not sure of intraday use but i use only for EOD. lot of indicators,and easy to use.please try it once. subash

Hi,
I tried Fibo Trader, World Stock Charts, Eclipse Trader, AioTrade, SWEC, NeedforTrade, MAS, aptistock, itrade... etc. Of all of them, i liked swec most as it gives practically all the data available at the moment. All others give EOD, so, if you want to know the status of market at noon, you cant.. The problem with swec is that it is very slow and sometimes there is some error in the last candle. Sometimes double candles, sometimes missing candles. Also it eats RAM like anything. I feel Only QT to be best as it gives practically realtime data. Draws Chart for about six months (For this i wanted some open source software where i can get unlimited Chart.) Also It is not possible to get BSE data in QT. This is another reason i wanted Open Source SW.... Any help regards ashutosh
