Hey, Good work pgd ! With the method and URL that you mentioned its possible to download historical data for hundreds of stocks in one go. It has saved many hours of effort of downloading data from nseindia.com.

that was a wonderful peice of information . but since i am looking for intraday nifty data and i am using metastock software , how could i get intra day data that is updated online. i am not a very tech savy. if u can get me this information , i'll be highly obliged. bye nitin

Hi
I have used srisara's downloader to download data for 5 years for all stocks and it took some time to do it (about 88 MB).It is an excellent tool. There is one software called Aptistock available at http://www.aptistock.com/download.htm .Total download size is 3.1 MB and latest version is AptiStock-1.01. It can download data from NSE and give technical analysis.Various opyions are given. It is totally free of cost.It needs some improvement. Feedback can be posted to their website. I have also downloaded aptistock.now,how should I use the software can any member help me how to download data into aptistock.Iam not able to download data. please give me step by step information to download data. one more thing is aptistock better or f charts is a better software. regards, joy_verma

I Have Loaded Fc Software, Copied Nse Tickers As By Pgd, And Was Comfortabley Loaded All Historical Data From Yahoo Itself, And Updating Everyday At Single Click. All Is Working Fine So Far. Thnx To Pgd, Step By Step His Guidence Is Exellent. Currentely I M Updating Eod From Yahoo Sites Itself, Will It Cause Some Problems Latter?? Likes To Know Further From Pgd Or Learned Users Thnx And Regards Bskjain
