Does anyone use wealthlab? Can anyone compare it with amibroker. amibroker may be good and cheap, but as u try building advanced systems on it, u realize that u get what u pay for. it doesn't even have a break and goto statement, neither does it have event driven programming. when i use COM with it, it only accesses the objects exposed by Broker.Application and its heirarchy. It cannot accept uer inputs on the fly or refresh the screen.
are any of these features available on any software? trial for all software are not available to evaluate.

regards

Hi Raj,

Thanks for your reply.
Can you clarify a few things?
1. Have u built custom trading strategies and tested them?
2. Have u used random stock based backtesting from a portfolio?
3. Have u built custom indices?
4. Can u get user inputs through input boxes?

Thanks
av
