Thanks a lot for the information and the link.I think it shall be a useful software, although the indicators available are just 5 or so.
Pl give me any tips that you consider useful.

Investar, I tried installing but its giving error while installing .net .. its says some fatal error !!!

It is really nice that Investar India has made and given it free.
But if the following are added, it will be nice.
Custom scan for combination of various technical states like certain, RSI,MA combination etc
Further usable in at leat two computers with same id. For example one pc and one laptop. This serves two purposes. one is mobility and another is backup.

Chartnexus is giving only BSE. No NSE. Further no scanning facility is there.
Still it is good for BSE stocks with all technical indicators.

To Investarindia:

After looking through an 'n' number of softwares including many established ones, a newbie like me has found the right one in Investar. Ease of use and great interface. and the best part is its free. However, I have some suggestion for the software.

- why only 5 indicators? Should include some more including RMO
- Stock advice also must provide detailed explanation on the analysis
- Must be able to check both BSE and NSE instead of logging seperately
- WHat about Intraday? IS it available?

Dear Friend,
I have downloaded this program on 26-01-2008 and successfully installed on win XP machine. It is working very fine. Pleae heck your .NET instalation or try after uninstalling and reinstalling the .NET run time libraries. It is a basic requirement
