Thumbs up SWEC Support and Inquries

Hi All,

My name is Kevin C. and I work with the StockWrap Team. A lot of users have contacted us saying that they have come from this board and so I thought I would take the time to post a quick note to let you know people actually exist from the StockWrap Team.

The product is StockWrap Express Charts and supports pretty much every exchange in the world with full symbol lists - so thats over 60K+ of symbols. We are actively involved in upgrading the program and want to know as many features as possible that you want integrated into the program. Charts are EOD and we have Live/15 Minute Delayed Watchlists on every stock. Full Feature List is available at http://wiki.stockwrap.com/index.php/SWEC_Features

The team are all experienced traders and all of us have Diplomas in Technical Analysis and our Team Lead has a both a Diploma and Masters of Technical Analysis - so you really are getting a program from people that know about the stock market and more importantly, Technical Charting. We are NOT simply programmers - but experienced market technicians.

Download the FREE program from http://www.stockwrap.com/download/
Check out our COMPREHENSIVE education at http://wiki.stockwrap.com

Feel free to email us at support (at) stockwrap.com any time whether its a program related question or a specific Technical Analysis Question.

Cheers & Thanks to those who have downloaded the program. SWEC 2.0 is not far away and has a massively expanded feature set - in the meantime enjoy the program!

Kevin

Hi I use your prog.

Its super package.
Especially comapred to AptiStock, SWEC gives EOD data on the same day itself. Which is helpful in charting next day's strategy.

Tools are good.
And the GUI is very professional

I think I have already listed few points on your forum which I would like to be rectified:
1. Enable data download on Hardisk, that will allow ppl to analyse even while offline
2. The program takes up large memory, anything can be done about it?
3. I've had few crashes, and after those crashes, when I start SWEC - it doesnt load/display charts.

Thumbs up Re: SWEC Support and Inquries

Hi Alpha1,

I'll get straight into your questions:

Quote:
"1. Enable data download on Hardisk, that will allow ppl to analyse even while offline"
--> This automatically occurs, whenever you download data - the symbol is automatically cached. If you get off the internet and re-enter the symbol, it will load the last "online" cached data.
Quote:
"2. The program takes up large memory, anything can be done about it?"
--> SWEC 2.0 has serious code and performance enhancements - this will increase speed and reduce memory take up.

Quote:
"3. I've had few crashes, and after those crashes, when I start SWEC - it doesnt load/display charts."
--> New updates for v1.0.4 are constantly released. You should check this regularly via "Help -> Check for Updates" in the program which will tell you whether you are using the latest version

Cheers,

Kevin

kevin,
good piece of sw. Well, I have few years of data which I need to load. The data are daily data and I have a file for each day. SO what is the best way to load the data? I don't trade intraday and use eod data. Also is there a way to program custom indicatoe thru' scripting. This will be very useful.
cheers,
anjan

Hi alpha1,

We are checking the updates now and verifying they are working.

If you select Help --> About - your build number should be v1.0.4.35944 - if its not please update your version via the website or download.com

Thanks!

Kevin

Hi,
Thnx for swec, Its a great software, the looks are great.. Everything you could have asked in a tech. software...
A few problems though.
The program crashes frequentyl.
How to see chart of BSE SENSEX
How about the software being a little bit faster... It is very slow or takes too much of resources....

Any way Great effort. You guys at SWEC team have come up with a winner...

BTW What is the use of "Live Data" tab. i mean what does it exactly show. is the value LTP from the respective exchange????

bye
regards
ashutosh
