A few problems though. The program crashes frequently.
--> Ensure that you are using the latest version of the program. And adjust you updating speed under settings. i.e. 5 min intervals works best.

How to see chart of BSE SENSEX
How about the software being a little bit faster... It is very slow or takes too much of resources....
--> SWEC 2.0 will be much faster and use less resources than current releases.

BTW What is the use of "Live Data" tab. i mean what does it exactly show. is the value LTP from the respective exchange????
--> Live data tab updates stock quotes live throughout the day. I.e. it provides live quotes of any exchange in the world at any time.

Cheers,

Kev

Hi All,

Data errors have been fixed - latest version is v1.0.4.5001

Please note that we will be releasing a version in the next few days that will have an intelligent updater so you dont need to keep downloading versions.

Check out www.stockwrap.com/download/ for more info.

Cheers,

Hi friends

There are 'n' number of free software available for EOD. But reality is 80% of volumes come from day trading. There is no good software freely available which can extract real time data and charts in INDIA. Why everybody try to develop the same free EOD. Why don't somebody think in different way.I request you try to develop a software which reflects the spirit of current INDIAN markets.

^ That is because most of teh sites, even NSE supply EOD data easily.

Whereas for live intraday data you require a constant connection to NSE website.

Actually, coming to think of it - it is possible.

Worst part of the whole thing is....basic chart provided by broker.
if you are intraday trading and need 5min chart with simple 50 period moving average. it do not apear's on any broker's intraday chart till 2:30pm. previous day's price action on 5min chart do not apeares at morning.
and worst of worst part is..i send e-mail to my broker regarding request of previous day's intraday price action's so that i can view 5min chart at 10:00 AM with 50SMA. on chart.... that broker do not understand my requirement. even that broker is on Top of the rank .where as this is a simple minimum requirement of any technical trader.

it is realy frustrating that..with such a good programing skill available in india we are so behind in developing simple charting ?

it seems all good software programer has left India.

Dear frind

Our experiance with brockers regarding intraday chart is similar. That is the reason I have discountinued with my present broker and started with Realiance Money for economy in brokarage and started downloading intraday data in my own method. Now my online trading cost is almost all just Rs.15 per day.(I trade only in nifty) If you are interested my method please visit http://www.traderji.com/software/728...od-data-5.html IT IS FREE. If you want any clarifications please contact me ppvsin@yahoo.co.in
