You may want to join this forum. But you yourself have to be good at Excel in order to use the ideas and files you may get from them - http://tech.groups.**********/group/xltraders/

I am also attaching a file written by someone else on some other forum, which can download ***** data and generate signals based on couple of built in formulae. However, it limits you to use whatever is there in the sheet. Unless you can build your own exit, entry formulae, you cannot benefit from this.

In case you would like to pay some money, you can try AnalyzerXL. Its a paid program but there is a few days free evaluation period. It uses ***** data and has lot of inbuilt indicators and rules to generate trading signals.

You cant.

If you wanna get somethign that shows buy-sell signals - check some free softwares like AptiStock, Fibotrader etc - which makes a chart of the scrip quotes and gives you teh option of inserting trade flags onto the chart.

Ofcourse there are better software (and they cost a fortune) that indicate more rigourously and elegantly.

If you are willing to trust MACD to give you buy and sell signals (which I dont trust), then you can use an excel sheet by one of the forumites here.

I dont remember the thread though. Hopefully, that member would drop in by this thread and help.

Download the utility called Data Extractor from www.investbulls.com .
It Downloads EOD from NSe Site and converts it into TXT file which is acceptable by any SW.

and regrding getting Signals in Excel u just need to put a few Formulas in place. Im sure u know the basics. lets say for example, a strategy called gap can be used. Try lookin for a sheet in Coolworks thread in Software section which is meant for Gap trading(Intrday) developed by Cooltetra.

Thanks
