Both are pretty similar in almost every parameter. Just a matter of your taste, in my opinion.

ninja trader miles away from amibroker.
amibroker is entrylevell software.
it is comparing maruthi with bmw both having same accelerator and brake but power and maneuverability different.
more professional traders use ninja worldwide.
first use amibroker then go for ninja.
learning ninja takes more time.

for screening of stocks amibroker is good.if you want to watch more charts amibroker is better.

good trader watches 2 or 3 charts for good results

In my opinion amibroker is way much better than ninjatrader. coding our strategy is real easy in amibroker comparing to ninjatrader and also i read some where that in ninjatrader the output results are not consistent. In ninjatrader the backtest result of a strategy changes according to the different computer system you use.

Are you serious? Seems unlikely. Did you figure out what was the reason for the variance of the results?

Its a long time back when i was trying out ninjatrader backtesting system myself. I came across this article in which a trader carried out back testing using ninjatrader and found some discrepancies. He then tried ninjatrader and bactested the same trading system using different machines. The conclusion in his article was that ninjatrader backtest results are not consistent

Amibroker is general purpose sedan with lots of luxury features.

Ninjatrader is sports version with minimal seating space and very hard-to-get-used-to-steering-wheel. However, once you get used to the steering wheel and the insides, Ninja will start to appear sufficiently spacious.

Unfortunately every amateur being able to install malicious software being hidden and unknown to him on his PC is allowed to call himself "professional" nowadays since you don't need a profession for being an "Internet expert". *lol*
