My Trade Course From IIFM Delhi

'My Trade' from IIFM Delhi is a course developed by expert traders and backed by cartel of trading firms which guarantees a trader job with a salary of 2 lacs to 10 lacs per annum depending on performance of the student in the course.
Course Fee- Rs 75000 (Of course scholarships are there)
Admission - Through Traders Aptitude Test(TAT)
Duration - 4 months( only week-end classes 120 Hrs)

My intention in starting this thread is to find out constructive feedback from the persons who have undergone this course about career prospects, course worthness etc.

Expert traders and seniors are requested to give their view about this course whether it is worthwhile if some body seriously wants to make a career as a full time trader.

75000 is way too much to promise a prop trading job!

Most prop traders get fired within first 6 months. They are promising a job and not successful trading.

Thanks for your reply,btw nobody can guarantee a successful trading career.After all trading is such a tough job.However I believe with proper orientation, right kind of training and one-to-one mentorship at the begining of one's career, a beginer can have a better chance of success.I am not worried about the hefty fees,but the quality of the course content should be of such high standard.

thats what I'm sayng, 75000 for a job is way too much.

If trading is all that you are bothered about, then there are plenty of better options available :thumb:

With 75k you can buy the best international books and seminars, join good professional trading groups which have recognition from Govt. Authorized agencies(though most in US).

Currently in India there is no technical analysis or trading course which has been accredited by SEBI.

For a prop trading job you do not need the IIFM certification, just a decent education background and aptitude.

Eg.

Also search on linkedin groups on trading, many pro traders there.

Dear All,

Trading is as exciting as driving a Formula 1 Car. This profession is not for everyone. However, those who succeed earn millions for having fun at the job.

Though no one can guarantee that you can learn Formula 1 driving, there are people who can equip with the advanced stages of Formula 1. Thereafter its upon you to take it further.

IIFM is a team of ex - Formula 1 Drivers (read successful traders) with whose interaction you can build an attitude towards trading. Believe me there is a very small difference between a good and a bad trader. Infact, when you first sit on the trading terminal you start with a 50% chance of winning.

IIFM precisely teaches the difference. They do not guarantee jobs. No one can. However, they do identify potential and provide platforms which ordinary students like us can never dream of.

In my opinion this is one institute where everybody should go once in their life. Even if you do not learn trading (like me), you would definitely learn the attitude towards life. It is because of IIFM and the values that I learnt there that now I am a successful fashion designer, so early in my life.

The initiator starts the thread with seeking views and midway starts writing accolades for the course. Subtle way of advertising!!! Best is to advertise here on the Forum and you are automatically allowed to have your own thread to go ga ga over the course!!! With 75000 as fees affording an ad here shall not be a problem!!! :D
