MF investments are subjected to market risk! This is the only caveat they use and play with our money. If you loose its your risk, if you gain - well so what, we had our share, keep it what you got! (and reinvest with us!!!!!!!)

If market goes up, returns are good. If market goes down returns are bad. You take any MF, you will experience this! We think our money is safe with fund managers managing it. All investments follow above lines!

I think purchasing mutual funds from SBI can be bit good options because have higher chance for better return. ELSS is a type of diversified equity mutual fund which is qualified for tax exemption under section 80C of the Income Tax Act, and offers the twin-advantage of capital appreciation and tax benefits. It comes with a lock-in period of three years.

I have used a program called Mutual Fund Millionaire to identify good funds. What I like about it is that it tells you when to sell. That had always been my problem. I would never get out at the right time

Try not to invest in mutual funds, either investment yourself or a private fund manager. Mutua funds nowadays qre just blackholes for investors which favor the fund house only. Read the fine print or any given mutual fund. They get your money in management fee, no matter what.

At Nifty level of 6000 investing in mutual funds is not a good idea. You can invest in a Systematic Investment Plan ( SIP) of any good mutual fund when market comes down to below 5000. You will get such opportunities once in 2 years definately.

And Mr. G. Along with your resume and application letter also mention that in your previous avatar you were "mastertrader007", the id which was banned
And yeah, I was serious and absolutely no sarcasm when i said that you never lost any money. I don't have reasons to disbelieve you.
