For Equities short, we can't take the trade as positional in Indian markets. It's only intraday.
FnO is capital intensive, and in case of options we can't be sure of making profit even if the trade does go as per our expected direction, because of the time decay.
I know in US market we can take positional short trade in equities, and also there are some instruments like inverse, which is a convenient way to short even as a long trade.
Is it there such instrument/way, in Indian markets, that allows you to have positional short trade (not FnO)?
