Hi,

I am trading with Indian equity and commodity market for the last 15 years. Though it is not my full time profession.

By profession I am a banker.

In trading some time I used to gain some times used to loose money. But all this feelings I cant share with anybody.

Purpose of this thread is to share my trading ideas & trades.

I am having a good feelings that this market fall is an opportunity for positional traders.

On single day on 18.05.2009 when the upa govt got majority almost investors are happy but some one had suffered huge loss who
are having short positions. Think! i am also one of them. however i had covered around 40% of the loss booked on 18.05.2009 in 1 week
applying the stoploss technique and also expect to take atleast 1-2 months to recover all.

I think if some one before going to stock market should test the loss bearing capacity and should take decision for purchase and sale of share . If your decision to purchase/sale the share is not in your favour then book loss and get exit from that one. Generally we think that ab market itna neeche chala gaya hai ab aur neeche nahi jayega and take decision to purchase the share. This openion may be true but the funds utilised may got blocked for some time.

once again I am of firm openion that one should apply stop loss strategy while intraday trading or future trading . As soon as the price of the share go up then the stop loss should be revised upward to get some profit.

I shall trade equity/derivatives right now.

Thanks for getting opportunity to express my views in this forum

Hi

I forgot Warren Buffet law, buy when all are selling and sell when all are buying.

I am sure when market was at 8k many did not put in like me and now waiting..
