I appreciate you views on VSNL,CENTEX and HINDALCO, got the point, looks like correction is round the corner and caution and strict stop loss is the only way going forward,

Hi VV

What is your opinion on EID Parry. It is not moving with the market. I feel it may go up in the near future.

Thanks

For example, look at Sensex with this indicator. From 2005 Nov to 2006 May, there were only 2 cross downs below 0. One time was in Jan'06 when there was a deeper pull back. The other one in May when sensex came down heavy. So, look at for each stock whether it makes sense. I think it does very well in providing entry point. It provides signal earlier to crossover. Look at how the signal would have worked for:
1. Reliance.
2. BankIndia
3. Classic
It does have similarities with MACD (12,26,9) crossover.
Hi VV,

Thanks for ur encouragement. You were the basic inspiration behind this
method . Kenneth suggested to superimpose all the "Three macd indicators" into one, which will give u strong buy signals. Do try it.

I am researching on Volatlity of stocks, by using MACD and ATR.
I will update it in future in ur thread, as I didn't received good reponse from
starting a new thread. People were jumping on conclusions, before even trying
the system. So if u dont' mind, I will update it in ur thread. As many follow ur
thread and by ur approval, they might also use the system and benefit from it.

Regards

Sonu M.

Why do you feel that? Having feelings is ok. But, don't act on those feelings until you see some positive happening for the stock in the direction of your feelings. TA says nothing great about the stock. Why bother about this stock. Why don't U select better trending stocks.

ESSAROIL

india bulls

ipcl
-- Its doing good too. In the pull back mode.

timtomlee
-- Can you provide differences between MACD(12,26,9) and MACD(3,10,1). We are looking for what more information MACD(3,10,1) is providing than MACD(12,26,9).

Hey VV,

Any thoughts on Tata Steel? I have @528 and it has not given much movement in the past week or so in fact it has shown some weakness. CMP is 507. I can accumulate if you see an upside in the near future.

Also wanted your thoughts on Gitanjali Gems. The stock has moved up quite a bit in the last couple of trading sessions hitting circuit more than twice in the last week. Do you advise getting into the stock at these levels as word on the street is that the near term tgt for the stock is 250 (some takeover news is in the pipeline which will be announced in 2-3 weeks). CMP 203-206.

Thanks once again.

HI VV,
Any thoughts on Hercules Hoist (BSE Code: 505720 Script ID: HERCULES). I have a position in this stock (CMP: 2372.33/-) and wanted to know the prospects of this stock.

Thanks in advance,
Jude

Why apologize when U have not made a mistake.

TATA TEA
-- There is a pattern of slow upside after pullback. Look at previous pull back in mid July. It went below 50 day EMA and then came back up. Look for similar thing to happen before you buy. Let it go above 875/900 to make a buy. Each stock is a different animal, just like each person is different (is it coincidence? No!!! Stocks are traded by people). They have to be traded differently.

CENTURY TEXTILES
-- I don't like the volume. Avoid till you see volume improving.

SUZLON
-- Recent volume has not been encouraging. U can argue that it is in the pull back mode. Like many stocks and the indexes themselves, the upside has been a slow process with no volatility. The price action is really boring. This one, its your call, buy or stand aside.

Tata Steel? I have @528 and it has not given much movement in the past week
-- This stock is stuck in a trading range. Unless it takes out 560, I wouldn't be interested. Volume has not been encouraging either. Watch out the levels 500 and 450. Try not to be in there if it goes below 450.

Gitanjali Gems
-- Its a good candidate. Can you buy now? depends on how you normally buy a stock. I do after a pull back.

Any thoughts on Hercules Hoist (BSE Code: 505720 Script ID: HERCULES). I have a position in this stock (CMP: 2372.33/-) and wanted to know the prospects of this stock.
-- Looks good so far. Its got resistance at 2600. How high can it go, as far as it can. In the mean while, trail your stop and see how far it can take you.

Here is another guy I read articles from: Rob Hanna
http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/...mentary/hanna/

The reason I remember him is because of Exide Industries (ExideInd). Rob has an article on using Bollinger Bands to take profits. Can U apply to Exide?
