-- Wait for 8 EMA cross 50 and then pull back. I am sure it will do this time. chemplast sanmar -- Wait for pull back before you enter. 3i infotech --Wait for 8 EMA cross 50 and then pull back. Market has come out of the trading range. It is up 3 days. Will pull back pretty soon. At that time, consider these stocks for entry. Day Trading Info -- http://www.traderji.com/44907-post62.html -- You might have to use brokers software. There is some free software in Software section for day trading: http://www.traderji.com/software/6866-coolworks.html -- I see that you got hold of the e-books. Lets say you are buying a stock that that has ATR=20 and close = 100. If you are putting a stop between 80 and 100, you are basically asking for the stop to be hit. U are not giving the stock a chance to test your methodology. 3 * ATR is used to give the stock atleast 3 days to prove U are wrong. You could reduce it to be between 2*ATR and 3*ATR based on previous support. U need stock's volatility for position sizing. If you buy 100 shares of a stock that has ATR 100, you should expect a swing of Rs 10,000 per day. U need to ask yourself the question, are U comfortable with that kind of change to your porfolio. If not, how much swing can you take in principal per stock per day. Quote:
Amibroker Scripts -- I will provide them later. Orchid Chemical -- Let it take out 200. Consider after 8 day crossover 50 day. Even then, expect resistance at 200 EMA. hanil Era Textile -- Hopefully it will bounce from double bottom. Nothing exciting in both picks. Last edited by vvonteru; 12th August 2006 at 12:21 AM. Rename broker.industries.txt to broker.industries. Same with broker.sectors. When create a new database, place these files in Amibroker main directory. Then create database. The industries and sectors will be created automatically. However, you need stock data to map to industries. I am attaching a file that has stock symbols from Reuter. Further in loaddata.txt, change the file location to where you will put the stock symbols. Last edited by vvonteru; 12th August 2006 at 04:19 AM. |
