Hindalco is taking its time to go up. It belongs to Aluminium Industry from Metal Sector. It is lagging sector compared to better performing Industries below:

Current Leading Sectors
1. Cement (How did I miss this sector? Its been a while I scanned)
Stocks: ACC, Ambuja Cement East, Birla Corp, Decan Cement, Gujurat Ambuja Cement, India Cement, Mangalam Cement, Madras Cement, Mysore Cement, N C L Ind, Panyam Cement, Saur Cement, Sagar Cement, Shree Cement, Sri DigV Cement, Ultratech cement

2. Large Software
Stocks: Infosys, Wipro, Satyam, TCS, HCL Techno, Hexaware, I-Flex,

3. Oil (I think BSEOIL index is showing up only because of Reliance. No other stock in this sector looks good)
Stocks: Reliance, ONGC

4. Personal Care Products
Stocks: Colgate, Dabur, Godrej, Hindustan Lever, Marico, Proctor & Gamble India

5. Financial Services
Stocks: Fortis, Crisil

Coming Up
1. Power
Stock: KALPATPOWER, WEBEL, NTPC, CESC, TATA Power, Suzlon (I thought Suzlon was in Oil sector. I apologize. This is in Power sector. They make power using Wind Mills)

So, the best sector is Cement!!!, given the no. of stocks in that sector that are showing up. The (BSE) indexes are tricky. They can be confusing not knowing the composition and weights of stocks in the indexes. Unless lot of stocks are following the sector, we have to disregard the sector.

essar
-- It has a support at 40 and another at 32. Its hard to say how much room you want to give. Given your buy point, define your objective in staying in the stock.

RPL
-- What is BSE Code

Escort
-- Doing good. It has a trading range between 65 and 75. On friday, it crossed above 75. Hopefully, it does not come back. Either way, don't keep the stock if it goes below 65.

I know satyam pulled back again. Since you already have a position, avoid new position now. If the market continues to go up, U will find plethora of setups.

Thanks, next week should be interesting!

News comes after the stock goes up or down. Think about it. Infosys came up with good results. The stocks gaps open higher then previous close. As a individual buyer, you look at the news and go buy. Then the stock tanks. So, avoid news. The chart tells you what is happening. If news coming is so good, why Essar Oil has not come up?

2)RPL BSE code 532743
Its a new stock. At this point, investigate whether this stock has fundamental value for you to hold. I think Supratik is the guy you want pose this question to.

3) thanks
