Looking good so far.Agreed,needs to put up a close by the end of the week i.e Feb 17th above 385.If that happens,it is giving us an indication that it is ready to go.If then,it becomes a buy next week over this week's high.If we do not cross and end the week below 374,possibility of a breakout failure and can lead to a downward slide.So,for now,a wait and watch and see how it behaves today(Fri).

If it does breakout,expect a Rs 75-80 move up,of course,all the while make sure you have your trailing stops ready.

Nope Alok,still in pullback territory.Let it give us an inclination that it is changing trend first before we do anything.

Our job as traders is not to predict,but to detect a change in trend,and then to simply latch on to it and ride it as much as possible.

That indication of a change in trend hasn't happened yet.Wait n watch for now.

STRIDES ARCOLAB :Still in an uptrend.Raise your stops to 355.HOLD as of now.

CESC :Once again,keep your stop at255,and HOLD.

TATA POWER :Stop loss at 475.At some resistance here though.

3i INFOTECH :Nice neat pullback on the weekly charts.If this gap up on Feb 8th holds here forming a higher pivot low,a start of a possible move up is more than likely.Looking great here for a buy with a stop loss at 168 and a first target of 240.

I am Srinivas from London, Since 5 month I am going through recos by you, but never traded because I see this recos after end of the day. I am holding Rs 5 lac portfolio (I bought just like that without any guidence) and need your advise on how to invest. And also I want to invest some more amount for long term by some advise from you. Can you please help me in this regard?

Hi Srinivas,

Welcome to Traderji !!

I basically am a trader.......sometimes,I tend to trade off the long term charts and therefore may hold on to something for more than a year,but I wouldn't exactly classify it as investing.If you are looking at long term investments advice,then fundamentals are important and I 'm probably not the right person to be able to help you.

But we have quite a few brains over here at Traderji who could be of great help to you,and putting your query to them may be of great benefit.

I am new to trading but have been tracking your comments - find them useful but like Srinivas (above mail) have not been able to use them actively. Whats yr take on tea stocks. they seem to be rallying upwards. Thinking of a long call there. Thanks.

Couldnt enter it ,though tracking it .. Was short of funds ,, Will have funds on Friday 17th ..
Please advice , if still an entry in GUJ Fluoro is advisable, or should i wait for your next call
