any index in the world never falls continously everyday contrarion 2 stocks...
a mid cap stock can b halved in just a month ,but sensex cannot....so @ every fall or rise players take the opportunity 2 book profits/ losses or enter /exit....thats the reason for the mkts 2 test even the smartest of trader..

Hi mr sudoku1,
since last so many days I am eagerly waiting to see sensex to cross the MAGIC figure.
Let us hope and see whether N-DEAL will bring that apportunity in next week.

we may see a rally upto 16000 but not above it until inflation is subdued below 10% (i.e., 1 digit instead of 2 digit inflation), IIP (industrial production data) should go above 8% and fii inflows are not there til that happens. as we know that markets represent the economy not vice versa. And one more concern is a possible war/conflict in middle-east. just my opinion.
