Hi Sudoku,

Can you let me know how exactly the pricess of Petrol,LPG Gas and Diesel are obtained from the Crude price.Currently crude is at $142
Let me know if the below thing is right?

The Global oil prices are at 142 dolars per barrel..

so taking 142 dollars cost of 1 barrell is 142*43(Rate of dollar now) that costs 6106...with 1 barrel equivalent to 159 lites the cost of 1 litres comes arnd 38...

so 38 Rs per litre for crude....

Considerin the transportaion,refining cost ,profits of PSU and other things...which shld not cost morethan 8 Rs per litre...let us consider it as 15...

so the price is Rs 53
