Most of the stock you have mentioned have run-up huge and that also very short period of time. So, the risk is high if you are going to invest for 6-12 months but if you have decided that you will buy and forget the stock for 36 weeks, you may buy @ current level also, you will get a return minimum 25-35% or more. As I believe in Value investing, I'm not interested to invest in those stocks. However, If you are very agressive, you may enter at least 15-20% lower than current market price for IFCI, POwerGrid, Neyveli Lignite, ashok leyland, ispat industries ect. ect. Keep some money for buying market which is going to arrive sooner than later.

Hi Nirmal thanks for ur suggeestion..i have not decided yet but taking the advices of ppl like u and some seniors in the forum, as i m not familiar with stocks....what do u mean by value investing....

I would advise you to read a book : The Intelligent Investor - by Benjamin Graham. You can download the e-book free from the internet.
