I think it should be the other way around, learn first and then earn. If you are going to start depending on tips you are never going to learn.

However the choice is yours.

All the best.

Hi vince

I do agree with you (Learn First,Then Earn).I would like to suggest .Can anybody chart out a plan as to how to and where to start & proceed ?

e.g..1.Read books ...xyz
2.Do paper trading...
3.Trading..(Risks & Benefits)..
Day/Swing/Long Term ...
4.Tools that can be used for Day/Swing/Long.
5.Preparing Excel sheet/software for calculation of Profit/Loss/Position..

I am recently started trading. And you won't beleive I read almost everything possible .I tried Amibroker/Fibotrader/MedvedQuote Tracker..

But EOD i have to plan which scrip I must deal tomorrow. So I depend upon Jai/VV..for recommendations..I also read Eco.Times..I watch CNBC sometimes..

You can understand I am just learning...I am a bit confused ...If anybody has any plans ..Trading Plan Template ...please share ...

Raju

Smile Re: any good recommendations for septemebr options

Hi Raju,

I have 2 years of exp in stock market ...just started showing interest in trading after applying TCS IPO. Initally I was like u, now I have learnt a little bit(1% ). I spent daily 5 hours on stocks and futures (mostly I trade in futures).

I never read any books. I dont know tech analysis.

I follow www.karvy.com dialy they give calls on futures..

http://www.karvy.com/market/ds.pdf
http://www.karvy.com/market/dn.pdf
http://www.karvy.com/market/di.pdf

I used to follow moneycontrol.com

I also follow ...http://www.equitymaster.com/stockquotes/options.asp, www.wow-india.com for news only

I have subscribed with www.bsplindia.com (Vijay L. Bhambwani) I am happy with the calls Vijay provide .. I am with Vijay for the last 1 year.

I observe only some stocks (15 stocks) in futures and options and NIFTY and when I ever I feel something is good I ask my advisor (now ...www.bsplindia.com) whether its good or not.

Sometimes I take risk strategies...like selling puts and calls when I find market to be range bound. I use most of my capital in the last 2 weeks (future expiry).

I have distributed my capital as follows

30% very less risk --- I earn monthly 3-5 K/1 Lakh (before I-tax)

now like selling 3200, 3300 puts
30% moderate risk --- futures trading with my own knoledge and recommendations

20% stocks

20% back up

This is what I could think for today.

I will be online in ***** (kk_reddi@*****.com) in market hours till 13:50... I go to office then. Feel free to contact me incase of any queries.

I want to learn tech analysis now.

Hope this helps

Thanks,
Krishna

Frnds,

Wipro is the best bet for the september futures. if it trades below 510 for half an hour then one can come out of it. Targets 540...569....600.

Regards

Dear Sir,
I respectfully disagree. share market is a knife edge. it can wipe us out or make us. it would be very encouraging for anew comer to start getting encouragement by earning whie simultaneously learning. if the capital is eroded then where is the encouragement for the newcomer to stay in the amrket and if this trend continues only the existing palyers will continue to domiante and how will more and more new investors will join the investing community?
said in good spirit
thanks
