NOW watchlist

is it possible to add Nifty Index Option in NOW watchlist and get live option price ?

Say I want to add Nifty 5400 strike price - Expiry Sept - CE option in watchlist and want to watch live option price. Is it possible ? What is the steps ?

In the drop down menu

select NFO in the first column (among CDS, NFO, NSE)-> Normal in next column -> OPTIDX in next column -> then CE in next column -> 5400 in next column -> 27 sep 2012 in next column menu

Highlight NIFTY12SEP5400CE of the last column press enter and you have the option selection in your watch list and you will get live option price at market hours

Is it possible to add Nifty Index in Now Marketwatch ( within marketwatch alongwith other scrips ) ?

No, You can not add nifty index in market watch.
However if you wish to watch nifty in NOW platform. right click on dialogue bar (white area above drop down menu) select indices dialog and do the needful (select S&P CNX NIFTY from the table of indices)

Have been trying out NOW for options trading. Managed adding Option scrip,eg. BankNifty 10200 CA 29Aug2012, to the watchlist. However in the display column of "Symbol" it only shows 'BankNifty'. I am not able to make out the strike price & whether it is a call or put. Anyway of solving this problem?

Right click on the tabs that says "Symbol",Expiry Date.... (just above the rows of scripts) and choose Reposition columns. Add "Trading Symbol". This will solve your problem.

Could you please elaborate . I could not find nse-cds-index-nifty.
There is no CDs series.

u have to enable nse currency trading for CDS to be visible.

Got a solution.
Go to the first header, right click & select reposition colums options. Add "trading symbol" & you are done.
