I don't posses skills enuff to comprehend all in the post. But here this line makes me confused. Afterall if somebody is long, somebody else will be short in the same option. Is not it?

As said in FNO cues 1107,
3150 is the level of control , bulls controlled it. Also it was said that there is excessive pessism at lower levels which means that many puts were sold at lower strikes.Mind u when there is excessive pessism mkt rises.
3200 level was asked to watch, bulls have just touched that level on higher side.
Though almost everyone was feeling that market will fall today, market rosed.

This is the benefit of watching and monitoring fno data, specially options.
Weekly charts gave a weekly reversal, their was air of bearishness everywhere, but as fno data showed me high high put options being sold at lower levels so i was of the view that that mkt will rise,
How strong are hedge funds?
Just see they did not allow weekly low to break

Please take note of this, I am not blowing my trumpets nor i am trying to say that i m smart enough.

Please take note that whatever i m saying is my personal thought and not a trading advice. Do not trade on the basis of my post and thoughts .Do not trade on the basis of whatever i say.

hai trader, there seems to be a co-realtion betwwen OI and sensex.but the nifty changes are always pretty dramatic and OI changes from +ive to -ive in a matter of minutes , as the hedge funds trade in huge lots.so if we can do intra-day analysis, maybe we can be accurate. This is just a thought and i have not analysed this.
bye

Hi option analysers:

Has any one heard of 'KISS' strategy.

Instead of wasting ur time on analysing unlimited data, options, indicators, ma etc, if u just focus on price action and volume, u would benefit much more. Are u academecians or in market to profit. I will return with example of "KISS" strategy on nifty action on 12/7/06. By the way there was build up on Infosys call 3200, 3300 OI on 10th, 11th (By your analysis - aggressive call writing). What do u think would have happened to them yesterday.......... Keep it simple stupid
regards
Ajax
