Which Charts to follow - Underlying or Options?

#1
Hello All Experienced Seniors,
This question is for all the experienced options traders. My query is when you are following an options trade (put or call) do you keep track of your movements as per your chosen option or you follow the chart of the underlying? For example if I am long on Nifty Call then is it more sensible to follow the chart for that call or it's underlying the Nifty?
Thanks in advance.

If market moves, your chart will change. But this is not the point with options.

Your question shows. that you have no clue about understanding the option greeks.

Learn first about them and then come back with the next question.

Sorry to be a bit rough, but in your case, it will save your personal money.

Hi

You have to take your time to read about them and then to watch them beside explaining them to other persons. :)

Do you have the time to read about them and study these option greeks.

Best would be to come to a point where you recognize some thing like for example: Gamma and your brain starts automatically to sort out the information you see on your matrix.

If you really have the passion to take your time to read your self in that subject, use my PM.

Thanks Dan for your response and please don't be sorry for your statements. Where money is involved one must take a strict stance.

I do have some working knowledge of the greeks but it could be insignificant when compared to that of some of the seniors like you. But that shouldn't deter me from asking something from this knowledgeable forum. I have come to gain information here.

I will definitely read more from your posts as I have been previously doing with other people's posts too.
