Nifty options
At the end of Friday's trading, I analysed the nifty options(calls and puts) from series 2900 to 3250 .
These are the findings: 3050 Puts has the highest OI Among calls 3100 has the highest OI On Friday, Puts added more OI than calls. Calls added abt 128k whereas Puts added 1311k OI. So on a bullish day, PUTS OI has gone up. My strategyw ud be to buy put son Monday after watching intraday movements on 5mins charts at the slightest hint of weakness. when markets crashed on Wednesday , there was a similar increase in OI of calls as against Puts. The OI in calls jumped by 781k as against OI increase of 178k. With this data I was closely watching nifty on Thursday and using 5 mins chart bot 2 lots of 3100 calls @50 . I cashed out at 77. Those who are long are advised to keep a close watch.
