exposure margin

i am interested in options writing.can someone share the experience about the margin picture??

I too am interested. I have a specific case.

Suppose I have put Rs 50k as cash margin and Rs 100k as gold etf margin (after 15% haircut). My total margin is 150k.

Now, as per my trading, my margin used up is 100k. What will happen? It is abouve cash margin - so will they sell the etfs? Or will they sell the options? Or they will do nothing.

Help appreciated

I am not sure but I guess they will charge interest @18% on 50K
