Difference between look like similar options

#1
Hi all,

Good morning.

I have a doubt regarding some options scrip codes I saw in my Sharekhan site.

I see that NIFTY~O:1-Mon:CE:6000 is of the price 65 , but NIFTY~O:2-Mon:CE:6000 is of the price 154 and NIFTY~O:4-Mon:CE:6000 is of the price 290. I dont understand what this prices mean. I could see the only change in these scrips being 1,2 or 4 in the middle of the scrip. Please let me know what does these scrips mean.

Thank you.

Regards,
Manoj

Hi Aditya,

Thanks for your reply. I still have a doubt. If the scrip with NIFTY~O:1-Mon:CE:6200 expires for the month, then a scrip which has the scrip name NIFTY~O:2-Mon:CE:6200 will get changed to NIFTY~O:1-Mon:CE:6200?

If not, then how a call with NIFTY~O:2-Mon:CE:6200 can be placed in the next month?

Please educate me.

Thanks,
Manoj
