I purchased 5200 put option on 10 jun at Rs.195 expiry 24 Jun when the market was bearish
However soon it became bullish and its rate fell to Rs.22 by 18th

I entered into trading recently . So Please advise whether I can reduce my loss by converting into a spread - vertical or horizontal or by any other method:confused:
Any suggestion will be very helpful

Don't say you are a new comer into the markets. Options are a sure no no even for good traders. And God, you have lost more than 80% of your exposed capital, whatever is left over is peanuts. But, sure this experience would have thought you a great lesson, either not to enter into options or some new ideas to trade.

Options are suckers, there very very few traders who have succeeded in options, better switch over to futures if you have the risk appetite or learn from trading stocks and then venture into futures or options(only after good experience and knowledge)
