Margin Requirement

Hi All

I have some querys regarding writing call or put

1) suppose I want to write NIFTY Call/Put how much margin I have to give upfront to broker
2) Margin is vary from strike price & Expiry date

Ex. Strike price of 4600 current call is around 285 so how much margin i have to pay

writing a call option or a put option requires margin stipulated by NSE i.e., Rs. 24000 plus margin for NIFTY is applicable in this case of option writing. Strike price has no significance on the margin requirements.
