Hi all the option traders,
i hv created this thread so we all can share & discuss about the-

1) margin HOLD which we hav to do while writing and buying options ( both cases )

2) brokerage charges for buyin/ writing an option

3) name of brokerage company.

We will assume 1 lot of nifty option at a premium price of Rs.100

Thanks in advance.

why 81653.25 margin for sell 1 nifty option? its 25600 in 5 paise, pib

hdfc is looting the money. 1 option sell is same as one future lot.

also brokerage is high. normally its 100 rs+ taxes. there are some cheaper brokers too. in options, brokeage is important as we do many lots

We cannot expect a Professional support from RK Global but the Rs. 9/- per lot brokerage is VERY ATTRACTIVE AND USEFUL. Recently I opened the Account with them and started trading for 3 weeks so far no problem. Their F&O brokerage @ Rs. 9/- lot is very useful and I could make frequent trades intraday with the help of such a very small brokerage.
