Option Writing or Buying?

I want to know how to find if option writing is being done or buying?

Most TV Channels say that at x level call/put writing is done and at y level call/put buying is done.

I do know the difference between writing and buying but I am curious to know how can I find out if writing is being done or buying by looking at data available of various strikes on NSE site or in ODIN.

pls check Linkon7 threads you will atleast get some knowledge in options but as far as i know writing calls are for experts only or for the newbies who love to be bankrupt in few days.;)

for that u have to know about volatality index and OI open interest:thumb:
first gather information on that and learn after that u wont ask anyone what is all about:)
