Option Calculators and datafeeds (EOD and RT)

This thread is to discuss sotwares and datafeeds relating to options traded on NSE.

First disclosure. I am a total newbe on options.

I shall be greatful to all those members who contribute here. After going through the various threads in this forum, I have noticed that option trading is least discussed here. So let us make earnest begining. What I request members to contribute here is

1. Softwares that can be used to calculate various aspects relating to option strategies. Their merits and drawbacks. I mean softwares. Their cost and how to get them

2. Datafeed and method of using the data. Their cost

Start with optionoracle, just google it and you will find it easily, best of all it is free , a must for newbies to start with options, has various startegies inbuilt, gives the profit loss graph which is easy to understand.

Good suggestion. What about paid softwares? Have you used any of them? How did you find them?

Optionoracle is the only software I have used so far so cannot comment about the others, I came to know about option oracle from this forum only, while there may be others also available over the net but have found optionoracle quite sufficent for my needs,will let you know if I find some other useful software.

Jitendra, I found optionoracle quite sufficient , Rather than the tools I feel learning various strategies more useful in various scenarios, I use Icicidirect but cannot say that they are the best as the brokerage are on the higher side and also the margin required for option selling is high, still searching for better brokers.

Has anyone tried Optionscope that comes along with Metastock? What is your opinion about it?

Can some one point to me to site where I can download option oracle? I tried to find it on google but couldn't find the right place.
