"How to get benefitted with Call writing ?
Lets say I can predict that nifty will reach 5000 on 12 December 2008. Now what are the ways I can use this to my advantage ? " Hi You expect the market to be up in December: 1. You can buy an out of money call option. 2. You can sell In the money put option. You will benefit by put writing and not call writing if your expectation comes true. |

Of course, it goes without saying writing is much riskier than buying, so suit yourself. Last edited by skarpio; 27th July 2008 at 04:04 PM. |

so what is the difference between buying a future & sell a put if you think market is bullish ??
the disadvantage being buying the future gives me unlimited profit loss but selling call gives me unlimited loss & limited profits ??? selling options is mostly for hedgers not raw traders.... like buy nifty & sell call book the difference.... |
