Default Index Options on Nifty

I bought nifty 5100 put options at 147/- currently the Nifty is at 5075 and the price is 132.If i sell do i get profit now or should i wait only till the price goes above 147rs/-?

Pls help me its urgent thanx in advance.

Only above 147 (your purchase price) will be profit.

It is because Options are decreasing asset. The time value decreases each day and the premium will come down, even if the value of the underlying is unchanged. If you get a chance, go through the Greeks (delta, theta, etc.) for better understanding.
