Instrument types, etc.
Hello guys,
i'm new to this forum and new to trading. Do we have a glossary of terms here ? It would be great if someone explained newbies like me the meaning of the following terms. 1) Intrument types : what is the following : ( i know basic idea of options etc. but not technical words like below) OPTIDX OPTSTK FUTIDX FUTSTK i used to think OPTSTK is call option and OPTIDX is put option. but on nse.com, i saw the following combination : OPTIDX NIFTY CE (ce is call perhaps) 2) Also what is the difference between CE and CA and PE and PA? 3) I am currently trading on sbicaps. there while trading options they have a button called "AMO". what is it? thanks in advance.
