Historic Volatility for Nifty

I would be much obliged if one of you can inform me of one the websites which provide the historic Volatility of the Nifty Index, which would help me trading options.

I THINK NOW THE NIFTY GOES 5580 ONWARDS ! IS IT CORRECT?

Nifty & other f&o scrips' volatility is updated daily at nseindia website. You have to do a bit of searching.

Friends..Just go to nseindia.com...There on the top there is a link for the daily India VIX..open that link and select the dates range ..u can also directly download it into excel..

for calculating option Greek values (for nifty index), do u have to use this nifty historic volatility(which is given on the above link )
r we use VIX which is given in nse site...

if not VIX is used then what this value refer to?
