Dear Ghosh,

I have been avidly following your thread. Congratulations on the great work. Please keep it up.
One question- If Nifty opens up with a gap on Mondfay even then will your R1 and S1 still be valid? In other words, is there not a strong possibility of Nifty moving out of sideways trade?

Dear tekkiesuresh,

R1 and S1 will remain same for the next week irrespective of any movements and breakouts. According to my strategy moving out of sideways is considered when a trend remains in existence for more than 15days in succession.

Dear Ghosh Sir,

I am following your strategy and its giving me constant returns since last 6 months in succession. I will rather name it as Ghosh Sir's Nifty System (GSNS). It really works. You have shown a new way to the world to trade in Nifty options.

New traders normally don't understand options because of so many terminologies and comlex method of option trades. Your system is simple to understand and to follow for any newbies.

Thanks for your great work Sir. I salute you Sir!!!!!

Hi Trillian/Ghosh,

I have a doubt regarding opening of Nifty.Today Nifty opens at 4358.30.We all know today Asian Markets are trading higher,so Nifty will also trade higher.By considering the Open Price of Nifty (4358.30 @9.55 AM,suddenly spurts up to 4526 @9.56 AM due to global cues),how this will be considered to trade sideways strategy.

If we consider this as an Open Price, the sideways strategy will not work at all, since we are seeing only +- 20 points up/down from open price.

Please clarify if i am anything wrong from my side.

Dear Vasanth,

Please read the 1st post of this thread, until we get -20pts or +20 pts as per strategy posted in 1st post we will not trade.

Its possible that somedays we don't get any trend so we will not trade. Today we got the trend at 3:00 PM, down by more than 20pts from price at 12:00/12:30 PM. So one can buy put at R1 (4500) and hedge the same by buying a call at S1(4200) before EOD.

As far as sideways or bullish or bearish trend is concerned one needs to refer to charts for TA. One days move doesn't decide that trend is bullish, bearish or sideways. According to my strategy, the trend should remain in bullish or bearish mode for atleast 15 days in a row for it be considered bullish or bearish. If for last 15days its not showing any trend either up or down in a row, it means the trend is sideways.

Regards

Dear Trillian,

Yeah! S1 is 4200, I miss-typed it, thanks for pointing it out. I corrected the previous post accordingly.
