Dear Jace48,

I hope you have enjoyed the party. Strategy for next week - buy Nifty calls at 4000/4100 and Nifty puts at 4500/4600 atleast. It seems market will remain sideways.
If Nifty opens with gap up and remain above 20pts till 10:30AM - 10:45 AM buy calls at S1 with SL 20-30% from your buy price. Book profit if your target is achieved or buy puts at R1 around 3:00 PM-3:15 PM and hold call with a trailing SL of say 10%.

If Nifty opens with gap down and remain below 20pts till 10:30AM - 10:45 AM buy puts at R1 with SL 20-30% from your buy price. Book profit if your target is achieved or buy calls at R1 around 3:00 PM-3:15 PM and and hold put with a trailing SL of say 10%.

Vary calls and puts nos. according to the trend.

Regards

Many online brokers provide the facility of placing "after market" orders. You can create your orders in the night and it will get executed next day. For this way of trading, it is better to use Limit Order or "Stop Trigger + Limit" order combination.
I know that ICICIDirect has this facility (I am sure other brokers will also be having it). And if your broker doesn't have this facility then he doesn't meet your requirement so don't hesitate to switch the broker.

Happy Trading.

Sir,
As I understand your strategy , since now Nifty is around 4300 , we should not trade till it reaches either 4000 to 4100 on the downside or till it reaches 4500 on the upper side.
Kindly tell me whether I am correct or not ?
Thank you , sir

Grorich

Dear Grorich,

Its Nifty strike price 4000/4100 (S1) where you are recomended to buy calls and buy puts at strike price4500/4600. So, there is no need to wait for these levels to reach. Request you to read the thread from start to understand the strategy.

Buy these options for next month (August) only. This month's expiry is nearing so avoid trading in options for this month (July).

Regards
